This workshop aims to explore the future of Asia through the convergence of Triple Helix collaboration—centered on universities, industry, and government—with digital technology, networked societies, and sociocultural changes. In particular, it approaches innovation not merely as amatter of science, technology, or industrial development, but
as a process through which universities, research institutions, industry, government, and civil society jointly build a sustainable and resilient future. Through this, the workshop seeks to expand the research on Asian politics, society, and economics accumulated by JCEA into the realms of socio-technical convergence, data and network societies, and future studies, while exploring a new academic agenda that connects the research capabilities of WATEF and the Cyber Emotion Research Center at Yeungnam University.
